Employment Qualifications

Special Ed Director
Principal:
- Valid Texas Mid-Management or Principal Certification
- Administrator experience required
- Minimum (3 yrs) teaching experience required
- Ability to implement policy and procedures
- Manage Budget and personnel
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
Counselor:
- Appropriate certification required
- Minimum (3 yrs) teaching experience
- Knowledgeable of counseling and guidance services
Teacher:
Instructional Aide:
- High School Transcript or GED
- TOPS Training Certificate
OR
- Official College Transcript showing all course work (minimum 48 hours)
Substitute Teacher:
- Copy of High School Transcript of GED Certificate
- Original Substitute Course Certificate *
OR
- Official College Transcript showing all course work (minimum 20 hrs.)

Nutrition Department:
- Negative TB test
- Current Food Handler's Card
- Proficiency in English Language
