Aransas Pass ISD Superintendent Dr. Glenn Barnes has announced the hiring of Rose Tran to serve as Principal at A.C. Blunt Middle School. Tran will join APISD after most recently serving as Administrator for Human Resources at the Region 2 Education Service Center.
Tran has lived and worked in the Coastal Bend region almost her entire life. After graduating high school, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. After ten years as a classroom teacher, Tran sought to continue her educational growth and worked to attain her Master of Science in Education from Walden University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Leadership and Management, also from Walden University.
Tran’s professional experiences include twelve years as a classroom teacher, three years as an assistant principal, seven years as a principal, two years as an Administrator for Human Resources, and experience serving as an interim superintendent. ##
