Welcome to Panther Country - Eunice Salazar-Banks | Principal H.T. Faulk Elementary School

Aransas Pass ISD Superintendent Dr. Glenn Barnes has announced the hiring of Eunice Salazar-Banks to serve as Principal at H.T. Faulk Elementary School. Banks will join APISD after most recently serving as School Improvement, Texas Instructional Coach and DMAC Specialist at the Region 2 Education Service Center.

Banks earned both her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Concentration in Reading, and her Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Banks is in the process of completing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership, also at TAMUCC.

Banks has 15 years of experience in the field of education, with 12 years at Corpus Christi ISD, where she served as a Pre-K Paraprofessional, a Teacher for kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade students, and an Elementary Instructional Coach. Banks acquired invaluable leadership skills and insights in her most recent role as a School Improvement Specialist at the Region 2 Education Service Center. In this role, Banks worked with principals throughout the region, providing guidance and coaching regarding leadership and campus best practices to support the growth of all students while developing a culture of positivity and collaboration.
