Free Student Meals 2024-25

APISD students will continue to receive free meals for the 2024-2025 school year under the Federal Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) .

This is a limited opportunity granted under the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA).

The district will not be required to collect applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals due to this provision. When the provision expires, the district will once again collect and process the standard meal applications.

APISD will continue to sell a la carte items (extra entrees and snacks) at Faulk Elementary, Charlie Marshall Elementary, AC Blunt Middle School and Aransas Pass High School. Students may pay for these items with cash or if money is added to their lunch account online. Lunch Money Now will continue to be utilized online to add money to student’s accounts. No charging allowed for a la carte items or snacks.

Free meals are for students only. Staff and visitors will continue to pay the designated prices of $5.00 for adult lunch meals and $3.75 for adult breakfast meals.

Students may bring a lunch from home and purchase a milk for .50¢.

If a sack lunch is brought from home, a student is not required to receive a lunch tray, but may choose to do so for themselves if they are still hungry. Trays cannot be given away to another person.

Pre-K students will be served all menu items including a fruit or vegetable as regulated by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA). Pre-K students are only allowed to choose white milk per TDA guidelines.

Kindergarten through 12th grade students are given the options of taking 3 or more items that make a reimbursable meal and one of the items must be a fruit or vegetable.

Wishing our Aransas Pass ISD students a happy and safe school year!
