The Aransas Pass ISD Board of Trustees recognized the Panthers and Employees of the Month at their October 14, 2024 Regular Board Meeting.
October 2024 Panthers of the Month
Oliver Meza is a 1st grade student at Faulk Elementary. Oliver has made tremendous improvement this school year. He always comes to school happy and greets everyone with a smile. He loves to make others laugh. He works very hard to complete his class work, and loves helping his teacher. We are so proud to have Oliver as our Panther of the Month!
Xavier Castro is a 5th grade student at Charlie Marshall Elementary. Xavier is an amazing young man. Always showing his Panther PRIDE, he is always willing to help others in the class while staying on top of his own work. We cannot wait to see what he becomes in the future because we expect great things from him. Congratulations Xavier!
Kaleb Ochoa is a 6th grade student at A.C. Blunt Middle School. His dedication to his learning and exemplary perfect attendance truly sets him apart as an honor student. Beyond his academic achievements is his willingness to help others. This trait of caring for others is what truly makes him a remarkable leader. Whether it’s guiding classmates through challenging material or lending a hand when someone is struggling, Kaleb’s support inspires those around him to excel. Thank you for being such a positive influence in our school community. Keep up the fantastic work!
Analise Davis is a senior at Aransas Pass High School. As Varsity Cheer Captain and Panther Band Drum Major, she demonstrates strong leadership skills, inspiring teammates and band members to work together and strive to do their best. Her commitment to the team, sport, and band is evident through consistent practice, attendance and a positive attitude. She serves as a true role model to her others, offering guidance and support and helping them improve their skills and confidence. She is a role model in the classroom as well. Analise works hard, has good grades, and is currently at the top of her class. She is a true inspiration to everyone around her. We are proud to name Analise Davis as APHS Panther of the Month.

Amanda Guajardo is a 1st grade teacher at Faulk Elementary. Mrs. Guajardo has an incredible impact on our campus community. Her dedication, support, and passion for teaching have inspired many students, fostering a positive environment where we can all thrive. As the Employee of the Month, she truly embodies the spirit of our school, and we are fortunate to have her as a member of the Faulk Family. Thank you for everything you do!
Michelle Lasiter is a 4th grade Instructional Aide at CMES and has been with APISD for 2 years. Ms. Lasiter consistently goes above and beyond to support both staff and students. Always thinking of others, she is willing to step in wherever needed—whether it’s making copies, covering classes on short notice, or assisting with any task we ask of her. She does all of this with a positive attitude, a heart for students, and without a single complaint. Her dedication and selflessness are truly remarkable, and she plays a vital role in keeping our school running smoothly.
Danielle Hayek is the 7th grade ELAR teacher at AC Blunt. Ms. Hayek exemplifies dedication and commitment to the success of our students. Her hard work not only supports student achievement but also strengthens our entire department. Beyond her teaching responsibilities, Ms. Hayek volunteers her time generously, taking on the role of National Junior Honor Society sponsor and fostering leadership and community service among our students. She is also proactive in learning our new curriculum platform, ensuring that her colleagues are well-supported and equipped to succeed. Ms. Hayek consistently goes above and beyond, helping her team with enthusiasm and positivity. Her unwavering dedication makes a significant difference in our school community. Kathryn Stephenson serves as the APHS Academic Dean. She has done so much work to ensure that every student has the opportunity to take upper-level courses. The number of students who are currently enrolled in Dual Credit courses has doubled from where they were last year. She has been integral in having every Junior prepare for and take the PSAT and every senior to take the SAT. She also serves as our proctor for our TSIA testing and works to ensure that students are prepared and moving up the testing scale. Along with all of this, Mrs. Stephenson works with managing the CTE pathways and preparing and implementing the Course Selection Guide to enable all parents and guardians to be more involved in their students’ courses. We are proud to have Mrs. Stephenson as our October APHS Employee of the Month.
Mary Morales is the district’s truancy officer and homeless liaison. Ms. Morales was named Employee of the month for her dedication to supporting the at-risk students and their families in our community. She works with a sense of urgency but in a supportive manner to help families get back on track with attendance, dropout prevention, homelessness, and wrap-around services. Thank you Ms. Morales!
Katie Matson an APISD bus driver. Katie is a hard worker, and shows up every day with a good attitude, ready to work. She has great interaction with her students. Katie is always willing to help out where she is needed, and will drive shuttles or trips when asked without hesitation. Thank you Katie for all you do!
