
Traffic advisory! For those traveling to Friday's varsity football game and Saturday's high school cross country meet, a traffic updated has been issued by the Harbor Bridge Project that may impact your route.
Beginning Thursday, September 26, at 9 pm until 9 pm, Monday, September 30, the Northwest Loop Ramp from Martin Luther King Drive to southbound SH 286 (Crosstown Expressway) will be closed. Motorists heading to southbound SH 286 will be detoured to take the Port Ave/Nueces Bay Blvd exit, make a U-turn at Nueces Bay Blvd, and continue southbound on I-37 to the direct connector ramp for southbound SH 286.

Aransas Pass ISD Administration was notified by the Aransas Pass Police Department that an arrest was made in relation to an online threat.

Ms. Hackfeld's art classes at AC Blunt Middle School start the year off with a collaborative project. This year, they looked at the work of artist Chuck Close. Each class created a banner with a different image and color scheme in his style. Students were responsible for coloring their individual squares, which were pieced back together to make the banner. #NationalArtsInEducationWeek #WeAreAP #APexcellence

Reminder, APISD provides a Golden Panther Card to any Aransas Pass resident who is age 65 or older. The Golden Panther Card will admit the cardholder to all home athletic events FREE! Cards are available at the APISD Administrative Offices located at 748 West Goodnight Avenue and may be picked up with a photo ID.
