The Aransas Pass ISD Board of Trustees recognized the Panthers and Employees of the Month at their March 24 Regular Board Meeting.
March 2025 Panthers of the Month
Faulk would like to acknowledge Harper Huddleston for Panther of the Month. Harper has demonstrated significant academic progress and consistently exhibits kindness and respect toward both peers and staff. She is always eager to volunteer and responds promptly and positively to requests for assistance in the classroom. Her joyful and cooperative attitude is a true reflection of the PAX vision and values at Faulk Elementary.
Thomas Poulos is a 3rd grader at Charlie Marshall. Thomas was chosen for his outstanding dedication to helping his peers, actively engaging in classroom discussions, and consistently demonstrating kindness.
Baylynn Dulaney is a 7th grader at ACBMS. Baylynn consistently brings a bright smile and positive attitude to everything she does. Her willingness to try new things and embrace challenges with enthusiasm makes her a true standout. Beyond her achievements, Baylynn has a remarkable ability to make our school a happier and more welcoming place for everyone. Her kindness, optimism, and joy are contagious, and we are fortunate to have her as part of our school community. Travis Ochoa is a Junior who has shown exemplary leadership at APHS. Travis is a natural born leader on the tennis court as well as in the weight room through powerlifting where he advanced to the Regional Meet and represented APHS very well. He has shown leadership through his involvement in the NHS and assisting in bake sales and food drives held this year. Travis has also been successful in the classroom taking on dual credit courses and maintaining a great GPA. Travis always has a smile on his face and a great attitude which is why he is Aransas Pass High School’s March Panther of the month.

We are grateful to have Veronica Ploch at Faulk Elementary. Her kindness, teamwork, and unwavering willingness to help without hesitation make her an invaluable asset to our campus. Mrs. Ploch has been reliable, dependable and always goes above and beyond to meet the needs of our students and community. Thank you Mrs. Ploch for all you do each and every day and for that we are forever grateful to have you with us at Faulk Elementary.
Amanda Sides is a 5th grade teacher and has been with the district for 11 years. Ms. Sides is an incredibly hard worker. She cares deeply about her students and does everything she can to help each and every one of them. Ms. Sides enjoys teaching and goes above and beyond to ensure her students grow. Thank you Ms. Sides for your dedication to the students at Charlie Marshall Elementary.
Coach Jacob Rodriguez is an 8th grade Science Teacher at ACBMS! Coach Rodriguez, is an exceptional team member who consistently demonstrates dedication, initiative, and an unwavering focus on student achievement. His passion for learning and his willingness to go above and beyond makes a significant impact on our community. Whether tackling challenges head-on or supporting colleagues. Lisa Smith is APHS Employee of the Month. Mrs. Smith is an amazing worker who is always willing to do whatever is necessary to help out. Her job duties include attendance as well as truancy and keeping track of student’s hours owed. As well as her official duties she also serves as our part time nurse, secretary, confidant, counselor, registrar, and parent. She is a light in the office and is so much fun to work with and that is why Lisa Smith is Aransas Pass High School’s March Employee of the Month.
Karen Schultz is our Accounts Payable Clerk. Karen is a valued member of the APISD family. Her hard-working attitude and joyful spirit help keep the team moving in the right direction for the advancement of the Panther Family. We are truly excited to have such a dedicated team member in our APISD family.
Beth Ward is the APISD Transportation Coordinator. Without Beth, our team would not be where it is today. We are grateful for her hard work, dedication, and professionalism here at Aransas Pass. Beth goes the extra mile in all that she does, the transportation team has one of the best out there and we couldn't be more blessed.
