September 2018 Panthers of the Month


Faulk POMH.T. Faulk Early Childhood Center
Kylee Garcilazo
Kylee is a kindergartener at Faulk Early Childhood and is the daughter of April Patterson and Martin Garcilazo. Kylee has an older brother named Tatum. In her spare time, Kylee enjoys coloring, painting, and playing with her dogs Bandit and Sadie, her guinea pigs Giz and Ollie, and her cat Komey. Kylee’s favorite colors are purple and pink. She likes school because she loves to do homework, play, and have fun. When she gets older, Kylee wants to be a fire fighter so she can help people stay safe from fire.

Kylee was selected as “Panther of the Month” because she is a dedicated student. She is always doing the right thing and is very respectful. Kylee enjoys being at school and is eager to learn. Faulk Early Childhood is proud to have Kylee Garcilazo.



Kieberger POMW.A. Kieberger Elementary School
Cameron Gomez
Cameron is a 3rd grader at Kieberger Elementary and is the son of Samantha Lopez and Jo’el Montemayor. In his spare time, Cameron enjoys playing “Sonic”.  He helps his mom immensely with chores and helping with the new baby. Cameron likes school because it is fun and easy. His favorite subject in school is science because he loves the hands on labs. Recently they made “slime” in class. Cameron said he would like to go to college when he graduates, but is not sure what he would like to be yet when he grows up.                            

Cameron was selected as "Panther of the Month" because he is a hard worker, a great leader, and always willing to help others including his teachers. He always gives his “all”. Kieberger Elementary is proud to have Cameron Gomez as their Panther of the Month.

Charlie Marshall POMCharlie Marshall Elementary School
Danice Horn

Danice is a fourth grader at CMES. She is the daughter of Daniel and Dian Horn. Danice has a 3-year-old sister named Danielle. Danice has one dog named Dallas. Danice loves to stay home and spend time with her mom. Danice’s favorite color is black. Her favorite subjects in school are science, writing, and math. Danice’s future plan is to become the best person she can be, and she hopes to become a teacher when she grows up.
 
Danice was selected as “Panther of the Month” because she is always respectful and always puts others first. We are very proud of her hard work and dedication.She is one of the many bright stars we have at Charlie Marshall Elementary School.






AC Blunt POMA.C. Blunt Middle School
Caroline Bustos
Caroline is a 7th grader at A.C. Blunt Middle School. She is the daughter of Benjamin Bustos and Robin and Raymond Sheffield. Caroline has three brothers and two sisters. She also has two dogs, Rory and Pepe. Caroline’s favorite subject in school is theater because she enjoys being able to show her true self. Her favorite things to do in her spare time are playing volleyball, listening to music, and writing her own lyrics. Something that might surprise others about Caroline is that she plays the guitar. Caroline’s philosophy about life is be happy with yourself and don’t let others control how you feel. When she finishes school, Caroline wants a job that involves helping others. She wants to work with animals and is thinking about becoming a veterinarian.

Caroline was selected as “Panther of the Month” because she is a dedicated student. She was nominated by her teachers because she always follows the rules, makes good choices, and is a good example for fellow classmates. A.C. Blunt Middle School is proud to have Caroline Bustos as their Panther of the Month.


APHS POMAransas Pass High School
Riley Bennett
Aransas Pass High School has selected Riley Bennett for their September Panther of the Month. Riley is a freshman at APHS. She is the daughter of Wayne and Pam Bennett. In her spare time, Riley enjoys doing her makeup and cheering. She loves hanging out and spending time with her friends and family. Riley’s favorite subject in school is English Language Arts. After graduation, Riley’s goal is to become an ASL teacher, or a teacher for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Riley was selected as “Panther of the Month” because she is a dedicated student.  She is always polite, and displays good citizenship, a willingness to help in any situation, and kindness to others.  Aransas Pass High School is proud to have Riley Bennett as their Panther of the Month.
